I agree with divi on this. What did you use to make the cage though, splines? Also, are these viewport grabs from 3Dsmax?

I´ve did a recent bake with 3dsmax and imported my model and normalmap in marmoset, it was perfect. So I think it is "synced".

As I already export them into an .fbx file for 3dcoat, I simply use this .fbx file for it (import into new 3dsmax project)

Yeah, that looks like, in Maya parlance, a smoother mesh PREVIEW, not an actual high poly mesh from your 3DSmax viewport.

I don't know anything about 3dsMax, and the file is meant for Maya. What you should do is import the .obj file.

Yep, put a gradient map in the viewport background, then save as C: \Documents and Settings\<yourname>\My Documents\3dsmax\scenes\maxstart.max
