I think at this time Conceptart.org, Polycount.com, Gameartisans.org should start selling tracking art thief devices and baseball bats on their e-shop. This may resolve this problem once and for all.
You should also fix the vertex normals on the trees, that was a plug in or tool for that as well... I think its called normal thief, Adams recent thread had a convo about it.
I know tearing apart analogies is an Olympic sport on the internet, but the gist of what I said is correct IMO. Theft from a store isn't the store's fault. It's the fault of the thief.

Haha, thanks to this tutorial series I now know that UDK ships with speedtree utility scripts for 3ds max that do the same job as normal thief, except instantly :D

Jack, yeah i agree some of them arent the best vids in the world but id say that they are all pretty worth the money you pay for them :) . Even if thier production values arent quite as high as those of gnomons you certainly get more bang for your buck with these. Though I dont know why either should be considered better…
