Been working on this guy for the Substrata art book, trying to get some sculpts with a little more detail than the nintendoy stuff I do at work. The friday re-caps are so inspiring to get me off my tradition sculpting ass. Keep making awesome people.
Fixed for you it is a tricky site, try another host? Looks great though. Epic work all can't state individuals at the moment but god damn you all are inspiring.:poly136::thumbup: Btw, I have an old irl blade that resembles this image a bit, minus the wall. ;)
I thought it would be time to post something on this inspiring forum. I did some game modeling in the past. But found out that sculpting is a really natural and pleasant way to create art. So I started with some Preston Blair characters to practice. The top one is the most recent.
Hi there, here is a new marmoset capture of my WIP freely inspired by DeusEx artwork mixed with high dose of mythology ;) the table is almost over now. I'll create the large emissive surfaces later. I'll move to the other assets of my scene for now. Sorry for the picture size :,(
2D, but hope that's okay. After watching Bungie's GDC talk, I felt inspired to do a little fan art. I'm pretty happy with it, I feel like the small details are still lacking (and very hard for me to work in) Might work into it more if I have time.
WIP of my Super Metroid inspired mini-scene ! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NG6t1X5_t_s"]Super Metroid Fan Art - WIP - V2 - YouTube[/ame] BTW anyone know why my Kismet of the metroid alien animation isn't playing in the render through kismet video?
All the popularity my faerie courier got on the workshop has inspired me to take a break from making full games and just start selling individual assets that people might like. So I just uploaded this SMG to turbosquid, http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/725100
inspirational work in here as always! keep it up guys!! So I´ve finally found some spare time to finish this thing off, got some little things that should be added, but I really need to move on to my next thing so this is the finished highpoly anyway:) cheers!:)
Can't stop staring at that moving eye :D Lots of inspiring stuff here as always. I saw 'Mulan' the other day and I just had to re-create my favourite scene from that movie. I always laugh when I see it. Eddie Murphy. Oh u.
This thread has been incredibly helpful and inspiring. Due to a couple folks reaching out and making the suggestion, I made a separate thread for updating progress on my solo attempts at 3D modeling/rigging/animating a bow and arrow here: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1972169#post1972169
