Sorry, guys I have been busy lately but I have some sketches to show of the throne and floaty/crystal/lamp in the room. First one to the left is the small lamps on the way to the throne and the last on to the right will be in the corners beside the throne. Might change the fabric on the last one though.
Hrrmmm, came back here to post another one but it looks like my original image is missing? Anyone else not seeing both images, or am I having a problem with Dropbox linking? And the first one, sorry for double posting if you do see the original image below:
Why is "Output UV set" using 'Lightmap'? You don't have the 'Advanced Options' section showing, but from what I remember from my limited time in Maya (sorry, Max user here) set Search Method to 'Closest to Envelope' and uncheck 'Delete Envelopes on bake'.
Believe in Houdini power! www(dot)youtube.com/watch?v=DrJqjeNQdTU www(dot)youtube.com/watch?v=jOLhnwllpgs just saying... ;) EDIT: Sorry for links in this format but if I post them normally only one shows and second doesn't. Just replace(dot) with proper sign.
Hey man! Thanks! Yeah trying to really push substance to see what kind of results it can produce in different styles. Glad you are liking it! Sorry I have been a bit absent. I got a commissioned gig as well as an art test that's keeping me busy.
I like this last posing. Maybe her face could look a bit happier? Lux seems to have a personality full of joy. I think the chest plate make her breast saggy, try to cut the height by a new design (damn, sorry my lame english).
ahh this is looking soo cool! I love the idea of duplicating his poses to show speed! Its really creative. How would something like that work in a game engine? It seems like it would be complicated to get the poses to duplicate correctly?? Sorry if that seems like a weird question.
hi LRoy! I´m sorry to say that there is no way to change the workflow midway right now. If you´ve already started to make materials you can save a "Project preset" and apply it on your new scene and that way you shouldn´t really lose any work :)
CLIC ON IMAGE TO SEE IT IN VIDEO Here's the first try, i need to add a real background and to work on my timing. All particles are render in PopcornFX editor. Second FX will be an ice spell to contrast with fire. Sorry for the laggy video, my computer was tired when i recorded it.
Okey thank you for your advices, I should get texturing later haha. Another question, do you recommend me model and animate in Maya for UE4? Or should I stick to 3ds max? Give me opinions please (sorry if I'm sooo new on these things ^^)
