Forgot to mention it, I am going to move the elements myself, I doubt any script can do it and yes I need the control About the software, I work with both maya and 3ds max so I'll prolly try your Maya way, vector renderer or the Silhouette thing
Are you actually looking for UDK or are you looking for Unity? UDK bases all pivot points on the 0,0 origin and can't really be edited. If you are looking for Unity it is the same way as UDK but there is a script that can allow you to move it:…
I almost always use instancing before transfer attributes. The latter is bugged and sometimes you don't get any transfers despite trying all different settings. Making a chain with instanced links is easy too with a script known as Duplicate Along Curve. You can find it on Creative Crash.
Hello. I was able to post last year October: http://polycount.com/discussion/178945/trouble-with-getvertnormalsfromface-script-with-3ds-max-2017#latest Today however, my latest post received a message saying it will only appear once approved by the Admins. I suspect that my account became unverified.
Tidal Blast all the softwares you listed support Python, except Unity/UE4. I would definitely recommand you to learn Python and Substance Designer to start.Just create some nice graphs in Designer and optimize your workflow by making a few Python scripts for your modeling/texturing application.
If ads are there for needed revenue, have you guys given some thought to the prevalence of ad-blockers these days? I seriously can't surf without one, I've grown so used to it. There are scripts that detect it, and serve a message about supporting the site. Maybe something to consider. Also, any updates for the wiki? :)
Just tried the macro script, it didn't work as planned, I'm still using it for something else! if I want it to run smooth stronger by itself there has to be a model loaded up already or it won't take the smooth brush change ion effect. So I'll go on the hunt for the smooth normal file!
Yeah, this all seems odd to me as well. I suppose we will have to wait, I don't know how easily someone can transfer their scripts, code, models, and stuff to another engine without breaking their work. But if something does happen...surely Crytek will have a bit of a mess on their end.
I see. Yes, I did look around there but did not find any pose storing/pasting. Would that be there too? Unfortunately I don't have a choice using CS. This is a provided model and rig. Would you know of any custom script/plugin that would help a bit? Thanks for the reply!
http://www.chuggnut.com/scripts/unwraptools/unwraptools.htm Why it isn't a part of Max I have no idea. I think the extra "g" in chuggnut was throwing your searches off. It is also stickied at the top of this very forum in the "max plugins" post, second post down. In case you need to find it again =)
