I feel it suffers from the same problems other gray boards suffer, besides the natural sleep inducing effects of gray, everything has the same gray, or very similar shades of it that make it hard to separate things. -Can posts have different/alternate shades of gray ? -The bar with the poster's name be more differenciate… -

My immediate suspicion is that you've got your ray projection distance set too high, and the rays are crossing over into the adjacent piece. Maybe try an exploded bake? -

It is a library where you put your materials when you create them to use them later. If it was mental ray material you can render it with mental ray. -

the shader is a mental ray shader, you must render with mental ray - in the video you try to render with maya software. I just tested this out and it works as expected. -

I'd suggest looking at rent.com, apartments.com, etc to find comparable square footage with similar amenities in the area. Once you have a list of prices (lower obviously) and they aren't complete s-holes. Let the apartment know that even with them reducing the rent hike 5% for you, you can still move into another…
