Hey, ( i'm not dead ) I've just finish a likeness of my dad and my first attempt to do a realistic portrait. I used zbrush for modelling the head and the clothes, zbrush / mudbox / photoshop for texturing, V-ray for rendering using the VrayFastSSS2 Material for the skin and final composition in Nuke
Legend VFX is expanding our current VFX pipeline to encompass greater opportunities for Film, episodic, and commercial work. Legend VFX is seeking an accomplished Nuke Compositor to blaze the trail with our Toronto team and utilize your expert Nuke skills and creativity to execute photo-realistic compositing for feature…
I think there's a difference between "planning to use" and "not ruling out". The latter doesn't imply that it's the first option they'll take. M.A.D. requires a nuclear strike if Iran was to actually use nuclear weaponry, saying "we won't nuke them" would go against M.A.D.. Though I've read claims that a nuclear bunker…
Yeah good points. I agree if its a planned detail you've probably already thought about it and its not like it wouldn't be hard to paint in. I agree I probably wouldn't waste time trying to getting a spot to bake badly, but I might not nuke it if pops up... maybe...
Nope, I mentioned only things from "outside". Autodesk use same "buying updates" policy for 3ds Max as for Maya. All 3D DCC apps may be used for visualization. And After Effects and Nuke widely used in visualization pipeline. And not for only static images, dynamic scenes too.
So.. it has been 2.5 years since I posted here. "UE4, Unity, Max, Maya, Nuke, Mari, Houdini, V-Ray, Arnold, Playstation, Windows, Mac, Zbrush etc will all have compatible shaders" has happened? I'll check 2.5 year later again.
It'd make sense if they had a user nuke at there disposal. just delete all posts by such and such user. Not too hard to code if they haven't. Just test it on a dummy version first please. I deleted all my user's and permissions on my last database thanks to a rouge var carrying into the query.
Yes, it's been around for a while now, but interestingly they've released a version for Blender 2.80(and no other DCC) It has its place in film/vfx as it's a Nuke plugin, but to me it just looks like another FaceGen type tool and not suitable for character work in this age of 3D scans and Wrap3 tech.
Photoshop does not come up with many options to convert 16 bit textures and I need 16-bit, grayscale PNG file. I have not tried it from gimp! I will have a look. At the moment the only programme that can view, edit and give multiple export choices is Nuke.
Thanks Chami79, We didn't use iClone software. We tried to use it...but as we were little late for competition..we started working with Autodesk Maya So Modeling/Rigging/Animation : Autodesk Maya Texturing/Sculpting : Adobe Photoshop and Z-Brush Editing/Compositing : Nuke and Aftereffects
