Hi Polycount! I thought I'd share my latest endeavour for anyone who might be interested in tracking its progress. The subject matter is an old battered leather sofa. I started with a basic mesh in 3DS Max (I'll be building a low poly after sculpting) and took it into ZBrush for detailing. I'm pretty happy with how it's…
Hi I finally decided it was time to post some of my progress on this project. Everything here is current work in progress, nothing is final. This is a architectural visualisation project, meaning that this is NOT being created as a game ready environment, so I'm not too concerned about polycounts of models (the only models…
Good progress @baraa_odeh! Here are a few things I'm struggling with here: 1. Aerial perspective, mist, water and sky I think you are missing the fact that they are all the same. The sky is "blue" because there are water droplets in the air refracting the incoming light. And both mist and general aerial perspective are an…
There is nothing special with that.If you want "clean" colors (how you imported the textures) then make a new post process console without any color post modifier. Or try to "clean" the current pp parameters.
Not a huge update, but I've been putting some time into the modular bays (seeing as they'll make up a majority of the scene), and wanted to share some progress. This is the mesh I'm bringing from Max into Zbrush: And then some sculpting progress: Had to do a few experiments with Retopo to get the detail where I needed it,…
Thanks everyone for your feedback. Really appreciate it. @Bishop - The reflection cuts off because of the shadows from the trees - It's a specular reflection right now. I've fixed some of the random grass placement now and will try turning down the spec so it's not so abrupt. @BeatKitano - Bloom :) - I thought I had toned…
Hello. I started to burn mesh maps in substance painter and noticed that the edges on the low poly model did not look right. What could it be caused by? Did I do something wrong with the model itself or is it a matter of bake?
"For me, texturing and sculpting can be especially draining, and sometimes the retopo/UV/baking combo (even with RizomUV or Marmoset) ends up eating way more time than I’d like. It often feels like I’m fighting the process instead of moving forward." Well, all of this is self-imposed really. Nothing forces you to work on…
Hi everyone! I'm really excited to be joining this amazing community. I've recently started learning concept art, and I'm eager to improve and develop my skills. I wanted to share some of my work here and would love to hear your thoughts and feedback on how I can get better. As a beginner, I’m open to any advice—whether…
