BCos: She looks rather awkward from the front, kinda like she shat herself. I'd recommend bringing the foot she's stepping with to the center, and then lowering her arms.
Some new experimenting with my Dungeon Corridor environment in UDK. Still lot to fix, smoothing groups and texture seams mostly, but the tiling and scale is much better now. Baby steps..
I'm working on retexturing the Minecraft villagers. Since a lot of Minecrafters are complaining that the default villagers look so ugly, I decided to step it up and make them.... even more ugly! :poly142:
Why do you guys don't stop to be so awesome? I feel ashamed to post anything here this way :) There goes one more up on this, and a paintover to guide me on next steps.
I created a piece yesterday and had some steps saved out in the psd. I figured I could post it here for anyone who finds this kind of stuff interesting :3 Enjoy... The final piece.
First attempt (i think) at a real gun. I'm gonna try to be as accurate as possible with it, but still remembering it is just for a game model so i wont go as far as modeling springs and internal mechanisms. Baby steps.
Birdman, a bit over 1h. This is filled with awesome stuff! Fingus, thanks for the steps, i'll try them out. FancyJames, it looks realy good, good job. Hazardous, your girls always amaze me :D
OK, I think I have sufficiently over sculpted this into noise city, so next step will be to get some experience with ZBrush poly painting and see if I can a texture going... Turn table : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/161473/Polycount/Hammer/MovieA.mov
I'm currently busy with my final graduation together with Dominique van Oosterom (MEGALOS). MEGALOS did the high poly audi and I made the (low) poly car out of it unwrapped it and baked it. The next step will be to unwrap the interior and bake the textures out if it. Hope you guys like it. Feedback is always welcome.
Nice job on the animations. This one however, I feel is a bit too mechanical for a living creature. The way he goes back into the original state, it feels too much like a machine, turns his head back and then sort of bends back down. Broken into steps, I feel like it should be more fluid :).
