so damn cool :D Is that a Particle you're spawning or clever UV-Scrolling? Might even look cooler if it runs the other way around (or a second one with a different color going up).
Working on a platformer on Unity, normally the game runs in a landscape resolution, just did this for screenshot purposes. I might make a thread showing individual assets etc in more detail at some point.
Yeah, either parsing from a pc or tablet in real time, or save pre-made sequences from the pc on the microcontroller(so he can run the lights standalone), what I would prefer.

I agree with Alberto, now a bunch of people will want to try out your scene Razorb, it reminds me of Brink as well ! I was saying that Skilduff's image was depressing because of its message about how we run our world... :(
I'm hoping to find a job in games; but in the meantime, I'm working as the only 3d concept design at Adidas. I never really get to show my work, but here's an outdoor running tooling I helped design which we 3d printed.
