Hi all. This is my version of Abe from Oddworld Abbes Odyssey. I've decided to make him more realistic and brutal. I'm also going to make a some enviroment from the game.
First time poster here Here's a Blastoise I modeled and textured for my zbrush class. Criticism is welcome! Original concept: http://silver5.deviantart.com/art/Realistic-Blastoise-Sketches-216985300
It depends what you want. Green looks more realistic and would fare better in use, but I prefer yellow and how nice and different it looks. Either way, that's pretty damn sweet.
well you could make the vertex paint effected by your heightmap or mask, so it fills in the cracks first. which would give you more realistic in interesting patterns, and get rid of the graident fade
so i got a comment on the size of the legs. i had originally wanted a somewhat stylized character with some realistic detail. made three variations. first one is the original. which one would work better?
So yesterday I started sculting on a female head it's the first time i'm sculpting a female the goal with this project is to create a realistic portrait and to put this into my portfolio. Some feedback before I begin with detailing would be great. enjoy!
First one is far more appealing for students. A pro made a paintover and made it look much better and more realistic. If he disregards the paintover, he'll get slammed when his folio is being reviewed for a job. Just saying...
yeah, there supposed to be rivets, i made them bigger than actual rivets so they would still read from farther away, oh and the concept is from this. I think its some kind of pod racer type thing. Obviously not totally realistic or anything.
more progress on the huge reactor/generator/power source I'm working on for my sci fi level. I'm still loving high poly modeling, wish I could do it all day long here are some max realistic viewport screen grabs
