Err, ignore the space cucumber monster ... that sort of emerged from noodling around. This was more to learn more about scene composition, depth, story telling, etc.
Yeah, does it show too much? I've been trying to work out a method for painting realistic skin, with blemishes etc, but it's hard to match some of the photo to texture stuff.
Finally started something for myself tonight (just a couple of hour in). Gonna work more on the likeness and then do a stylization pass on him. End goal is to put him in Marmoset, etc.
The body looks pretty good, but the face is off. It seems to me that it's too small for the head, especially from the front; Eyes too close together, mouth too narrow, etc.
@JacqueChoi- Daaaaaaaaaamn that's crazy. Dig! Cross post from my sketchbook thread. Still a ton to do, change, figure out.... etc, but crits welcome Schumanism Prophet: WIP
Cross Post. Original thread: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=94037&highlight=overdose Update on the bathroom area of the map: All models, lighting and textures/effects etc by myself.
More progress on the car, nearly there with the body now, hopefully going to start filling in all the gaps tomorrow. (floor pan, wheel wells etc.) did some work on the wipers too.
Awesome, you did a lot of justice to the concept ! Dunno if it's still wip, but one thing that bugs me is you didn't include the sharp edge material (brighter, less reflection, etc)
