@greevar i understand your view and well... disagree. But I could agree if not for some logical holes that after my post have no desire to argue with you, cause this is like arguing abortion. Hearing it from Neil Gaiman I totally agree. He gets it and it works for him and it possibly could work for so many others. BUT…
@metalliandy Of course 99.9% people who download this will not buy a retail copy and thats wrong but its not my point. @Entity not really, it could have been someone working where the discs are being pressed. another forum i frequent is full of shitheads who pirate console games and they get them early most of the time.
Well, after this I won't blame Crytek if they go: "You know what PC? Fuck you, fuck you and fuck you again. Console exclusive from now on, don't care if it's only some of you that did it, fuck you." Oh well, leakers/pirates can burn in a sea of basement sweat and smegma.
Not really sure if this changes anything. When the game gets released it'll get pirated that day anyways. I bought Crysis first day (even though I didn't have a computer that could run it). I really think game devs need to stop making single player games. Private servers are the only way to stop piracy.
The audience reached by legitimate advertising, although alot larger, would grow at a similar rate when compared to the audience reached by pirated software announcements [EDITED] and seeing as this game is huge, it's a bad situation. I hope Crysis still has much of it's intended impact when release time comes. [/EDITED] I…
This has nothing at all to do with the content of the finished game. This is about people judging the full game based on the unfinished dev build and presenting that as "proof" that the game is bad. It's like stealing a barely put together car and when it breaks down tell everyone you know how shitty the car is. I would…
This is entirely different. This isn't a pirated released game. These are leaked source files, the SP & MP game, the master auth keys and the game editor - All 48 days before release, giving any keygen makers and .EXE crackers a massive headstart before Crytek have even released it. The build that is leaked is so close to…
I wasn't planning on picking this game up, because I've grown somewhat bored of shooters and am tired of playing in cities like New York - but that's looking pretty good, and from what I can tell it doesn't look like it should be too much more visually intensive than the first one, which ran just fine on my system. May…
Just wanted to say I feel sorry. I hope Crytek goes unaffected. You guys are doing an amazing job. There are very little non-pirated games where I live, because no one in their sane minds would do business here. And even if someone imports original games they are inappropriately expensive for the level of life here. But if…
A PC multiplayer demo is coming, they announced it yesterday on twitter :/ Read that the leaked build does NOT include DX 10 or 11, is filled with unfinished assets and bugs and does in no way represent the finished product (duh) so at least the pirate assholes don't even get to see the eyecandy edition of the game, or…
