Looks great! Really nice Diffuse, the grafitti on the side is very believable. I don't think you are using your spec map (if you are even using one) to it's full potential. But with that said, it still is looking great.
Very cute girl model you have here, she looks believably real unlike most girls that end up getting made in 3D, keep it up...on an off note - can I have her number? :poly129:
@eld - I've been stalking that project of yours on twitter, I wanna play it! @mask - sweet paintover @jackwhat - that painting makes me moist. @nizza_waaarg - nice bust, it's really believable and contains your style. its all wip
@ MM: Great work. I can't believe you got that good a result in the maya viewport. AWESOME. I started playing with these guys again. Still plenty of work to do just a little less than before. Together again
Dan! Not sure if that's a good thing, but if so, thanks man! :P aajohnny, Thanks a lot, glad you liked it. hawken, Thanks, much appreciated man. 3 years? well then I'd better start working on the blueprints for all the make believe parts I put in there. ^^
Oh man revender i'm sad to hear that you will be calling it quits on this piece. I like it a lot, a lot of character and believability to it! Seems like you have a great grasp on realistic possibilities of other universes, i hope this post makes you change your mind!
Anyone got tipps on giving the Zbrush sculpts a finishing touch? i can't believe that claytube + smooth and Hpolish are the things to use to give something a finishing touch. Also i was kinda wondering if there's a trick to get some sharper curves done, my hand is kinda bit shaky :(
Pretty cool, man. The shadow it's too big and soft. It could be darker just at the bottom of the ball and lighter elsewhere, where ambient light is hiting. I made these studies this year: And here are the PSDs. I believe they will be helpful to you. http://www.mediafire.com/i/?1243ecy9a62viau…
End result is a bit too "sharp" for my liking and this sort of flattens it out a bit, like it doesnt have enough depth, but very well done and very clean. Post some FPV angle shots, as I believe the detail level/sharpness is probably more appropriate for that sort of presentation.
gah, so much great work on this page. Mask_salesman: Awesome character, she has a very believable face. Bobo did a hair painting video tutorial, http://www.bobotheseal.com/vids/BoBo_Hair_Demo.swf . Faf: Kick ass work man, I love that cart, I want more! Neox: Socks are rocked.
