Lovely monster Blaizer :) You might want to apply some of the angular design you have on whole body to hind legs too, they look a bit fat-ish at the moment.
Finally got some time over the weekend to mess around with Dynamesh! Here is the resulting hellish spawn... Enjoy "Skiffy the junkyard monster thinks it looks like his uncle"
Does anyone here know where I can find the image (or artistpage) of this little kid in a forest holding a wooden sword fighting monsters. I think it was a painting and I'm pretty sure it was a polycounter :)
Quick sketches for finding good proportions. I plan to make some colossus/golems for my game based on a common skeleton. Its hard to get various monster in the same theme with the same type of bones.
Hey y'all, been farting around with this dude. Based on some monsters from "Mistborn", a book trilogy. Still missing some basic clothes and a weapon, just trying to get the anatomy working at this point. crits welcome!
im glad people like them. so since i was rendering stuff i rendered off a head i did for a personal project. and also this one is the monster from before, i just couldn't help myself!!!!
Hey guys! I finished my entry for the 3d Creature Planets on cghub(Classic Movie Monsters). So here is my Creature from the Black Lagoon (max, xoliul shader 1.6, low+normal+diffuse+specular):
Preview to a monster I'm workin on.. started from Dynamesh Sphere.. I have most of his body done, but the way I'm modeling it, it's not posed and a little weird for now.. also a concept I finished up last week
That's looking pretty nice man. Huge respect for good animators, good animation can make or break a gameplay experience for me and that I wouldn't mind having in one of my games. Good job capturing the monster-hunter-esque type feel, too.
