Yeah that's one thing I learned my lesson on in Oblivion, quicksaves especially could be pretty notorious with getting corrupted. I always had the one quicksave going, and I'd constantly cycle through 3 hard saves alongside it. Will be doing the same thing in Skyrim, assuming a similar system. One thing I'm really hoping…
Don't worry, Darnified will save us all, if the guy is still around that is... http://blog.fileplanet.com/2011/11/11/five-oblivion-mods-skyrim-should-have/darnified-ui-screen-1/
Well, I got to the point to where I was could only get about an hour or 2 in at a time so I would save real quick not thinking about it and it bit me in the ass.
^I was going to say Dragon on Skooma, but it's already been said. However, on a more serious note, what about a fresh start of the game? Does the problem persist? Maybe it's a save-game issue?
Definitely, remember to create a lot of saves. Also, daggerfall plays out way more like a rogue-like compared to the newer entries, so basically a bit of a diablo-style game combined with the sandbox of the newer elderscrolls games.
If we go down that path it'll be sepiroth banging drizzt lookalikes while riding a unicorn and occasionally throwing one of any chosen canned motion capture dance animations. This 500 hours in into someones primary save file.
Ah I see. I don't tend to steal, and I am not focusing on lockpicking, sneaking or pickpocketing with my character so I've kind of avoided the thieving guild altogether. Thought I'd save it for a different character build.
So I decided to continue the main storyline finally, got to solitude where I have a massive bounty after completing the Dark Brotherhood quest and then I get to the stables tell the lady i'm ready and then i'm stuck in a glitch can't move nothing. I have no back up saves since i had to turn off auto save since it…
Yeah, that guy saved Oblivion for me (along with the leveling fix). I really hope that someone fixes that UI in about a weeks time (by then I got my old, but better, graphic card from my house) and can finally play the game. :)
I've been saving up money just in case the situation arises that someone forgets to use spoiler tags in this thread over the next few weeks. That way I can fly to their respective location and beat their dragonborn ass. You've been warned.
