I agree with carl somewhat, i hate stat driven games, but when it's against other players but when it's just a single player game... i love whooping some NPC ass with my +5 NPC annihilation stick!
I think It's wise to double the playtime this'll take me with checking out all the art in all the areas! Got a nice 5 day weekend to get a chunk into this, need to get as much done as possible before SWTOR! Great job to the dev team + polycounters, rockin'
its not surprising that its their own proprietary thing. Here are some reasons why its not id tech 5... speculation ofcourse. * Everyone at Bethesda would have to relearn a whole new pipeline. * Their programmers, just like programmers everywhere, probably think "sure its good, but we can do better!" * Carmack said it in…
Some hands-on impressions from QuakeCon. From what I understand, they were given an hour to do whatever they wanted, with the main quest disabled. http://www.g4tv.com/games/xbox-360/64714/the-elder-scrolls-5-skyrim/articles/75197/the-elder-scrolls-5-skyrim-hands-on-preview-time-flies-when-youre-dual-wielding-fire-spells/…

As it is I'm already finding way too many gems to sell/craft into jewelry so no…
Every game has always had massive amounts of book in them, tons of lore spanning now 5 games (not counting any of the spinoffs in the sam world) There's bound to be quite some backstory and lore on the world :P But like any peasant born in tamriel, you can just as well jump in without too much knowledge about the world,…
@Autocon, I had a somewhat similar problem with Oblivion on my 360 a few years ago. I just kept saving a new file every time I saved and eventually when it was up to about 160 saves it took about 5 minutes to save each time... I had to go through and delete all 160 saves one by one so that it would save in a reasonable…
"All I want are more polygons and higher res textures!" "Omg this game looks so pretty! WHY DOES IT RUN SO BAD!?" "Fight Night has really good graphics why can't GTA 4 look that good? SHITTY GAME!" "Where's the multiplayer!?" "OMG DLC SHOULD BE FREE!" 4-5 years of your life making something for people like THAT^ Whatever…
