I make myself some tools to get really faster when doing rigs. It is work still in progress, when this leg is done everything else(arm, head & spine) will be create really fast and the tool wil be complete. I'm in the process of tweaking and optimising my collision broadphase, so I can get on with working on my first game. I LOVE grids as a collision broadphase. With small enough grid nodes, you can get the amount of checks down as low as a quadtree, but with almost no overhead. The grid is so simple and so fast. It's 360…
If people didn't know/see already, I've updated my bitmapResourcer again the other day. It should now be maybe as fast as it originally was, but without memory issues. I also fixed some other small bugs. Also, testing right now, I currently have 900 images loaded out of almost 3000, and it's going fine.
Moar QuickPipe stuff, wanted to see how fast one can make clothing folds with the available settings, and it turns out to be really easy ! Currently wrapping up some video tutorials that will get published with the release.A few bug fixes, better documentation and the Open Profiler are all that remain. Can't wait to finish…
NV_command_list, a very cool new blazing fast OpenGL extension was publicly announced today at SIGGRAPH Asia. I am super happy to work on it with two colleagues. No GL spec yet, as we are still refining it, but sample code https://github.com/nvpro-samples/gl_commandlist_basic and will be able to post more of this year's…
@CrazyButcher: Thanks, I looked into a couple of PDF's and although I don't understand what is written in them I understand what the example pictures in them do :D I think it is much more simplified but it works well and fast: demo: http://www.renderhjs.net/bbs/polycount/voxel/dmo02/ keys:* d key = debug on / off (see all…
^ Thats cool! I don't have the tool up for download yet. Although If you don't have Max, it probably wont do u much good for another app. I'm using built in Voxel Methods to do the projection to make it fast/accurate. I do want to learn how to make my own Voxel method someday though and not have to rely on any built in…
It wasn't that hard actually. I just used the MeshProjectIntersect I believe, to get the closest point on a mesh and go from there. It stores geo info in Voxels to get positions fast. On a side note, i've been working on some retopo tools to put into that UI. Doing the Edge Extrude was a sob, but I got it like 95% good.…
I am just guessing but you are from Germany? The Telekom seems to have some backbone issues there to the main YT pipe. Its part of the reasons why they asked for network fees for big content providers to help out extending their network. Here in Sydney (AU) YT is quite unmatched, snappy and fast - no buffer interruptions…
Hi Luiz, thank you for your fast update, it works like a charm, and as another feature ideea it will be cool to be able to show the next or the previous images in the folder of the already opened image, like every other image viewer. Also when i'm trying to open the image directly with kuadro like right click on the image…
