Here you go..My abandoned skate ramp~ Its a part of my character Pandaboi where he gonna do some move. Gonna complete the texture set soon (Spec, Normal, Gloss, etc). _Revel
Crazyfool, thats awesome, very cool style. :) roB0T, very nice, really crisp! can't wait to see it textured. :) Very early progress on the model, still a lot of work to do and mess about with more detailed hair etc.
this is why i love polycount, thx for the crits i'll fix that stuff up :D badass folds crazy, what type of material is it? since it has some pretty hard edges i'm guessing not silk / satin etc :D
So my first textured model ever, it looks quite awful i know. Had some problems with photoshops image converter etc. In 2 weeks there will be a much better picture :D Destroy me with your criticism! :P
The illustrations remind me of the kind that would be in a French textbook. :) "How much money does jaques need to plan his trip?" Lots of vocabulary on the pages. Screaming baby, argument, contract, Travel Agent, Palm Tree, Shopping cart, etc.
I need a bit of critique on this tree. It was initially a test to see if I could manage to get something that looked like a tree. Should I keep working on it? (currently retopologizing it). The remaining detail (the bark, etc) will be added in the normal map, as I can't sculpt it.
Yeah, I'm aiming for photorealism in the end. No textures yet though, just 2 basic Blinn materials in that render, so it should look a lot better when I have some procedural stuff and texture variation, dust, light rust, dirt etc. going on.
After some searching around I'm getting numbers between 25k and 80k. Granted the dude saying he had 80k tris was talking about everything including the interior, inside of the trunk, detachable bumpers etc. Maybe split the difference and go for something around 53k?
Done the majority of the base for the body, I have no idea where to start on the hat and boot's, I also need to start adding some detail, wrinkles, holsters etc And loving the vampfish guy, perhaps some vamire like fangs would suit him nicely too?
Thanks guys, noted the butt crack :) Neox: that's awesome! The darkness is from the style I'm pushing towards. It's my take on Death from Sandman ScoobyDoofus: Yes, it's zbrush. Put a real time shader, switch the rendering type to Best and play with the light direction, shadow length etc. It's very basic.
