Hey Super, that's looking good. It's looking somewhat stiff and overly defined for something that's still in the gesture/form stage though. I think it would benefit the sculpt a lot if you left things a bit looser and rougher at this stage. The gesture is working quite well from the front and back though.
Looks good Calix. Though it looks like you have double-layed sarratus anterior muscles along with the obliques. Creating 3 vertical sheaths. At least that's how it looks at this angle. Plus the shape of the ribcage, as a whole, seems under-defined. There are some other slight proportional issues, but on the whole it's a…
I know you said not to be harsh, but I can't think of another way of saying this... I don't know what that is. :poly136: Edit: something just clicked - It's a mountain pass! Sorry! The reason why it was so hard to identify, is because there is next to no contrast there, the sky is essentially the same tone as the hills in…
Vitor: I can see the likeness, but he looks a bit... blobby and wobbly. Like the major shapes aren't very well defined... maybe you subdivided too much too early? Also are his ears actually that small in reality? Edit: Just looked at some ref pics and... yeah, I guess they pretty much are, heh :)
Almighty_gir: You can toggle perspective modes in ZBrush by pressing P. I agree the head looks a little thin right now; she's got a real conehead thing going on in the front view. But other than that, it's looking great. Snipergen: Looks great! I like the way you use smoothing groups to define those hard edges.
hehe Ruz, this is fallout 3 .. ;) oh and btw.. the rim light is not doing your work favor bc its way to strong all these shader settings make one want to use them all :poly142: ani, nice nice nice :) EricV: great bake but imo the spec needs some more love, to define the materials more, more small detail spec contrast for…
TheMadArtist: Nice idea. Proportions are off though. Calfs need to be longer, perhaps even the thighs and arms slightly shorter. Put alot of focus on his hands and hair and of course the face, though it's fairly simple. If you want to have him guitarhero-style then you should definately exagerate his proportions alot more.…
Hey Johny sure here goes As you can see there is no real shape solving going on at the moment, just throwing very quick splines extrudes and booleans together to fill in volumes. I wont take that step much further - next is building a mini library of primitive shapes to define the visual vocabulary of that guy so that…
Thought I'd put the clay I bought long ago to good use and took a shot at Left 4 Dead's Tank just for fun, don't even know if I plan to finish it, but it's being good exercise at least. There's tons of mistakes but reference is scarce (I'm looking at the model in the SDK's Model viewer but the normal map looks like shit so…
Beat, this is what I mean: Crit (NSFW). Right now, it looks as if the nickers are OVER the bodysuit since you didn't define (enough) where said bodysuit stops as dictated by the concept. The two lines you have there (above the nickers) looks as if it's part of the underwear, not lines that show where the bodysuit ends. If…
