thanks everyone for tips n guides. ill definitely give it a shot n post more queries here later. moving on , i made this bucket and get this problem in most of my models, "too many polygons" i read somewhere "less polygons= happier life" . how do i decrease the poly count without losing details ? any idea?
Hi guys. The problem here is that I can't 3d visualize this object from a Nintendo game, splatoon 2. Using only POLYGONAL MODELING without digital sculpture, because nintendo didn't use it.Thank you in advance.
I hate to post this since it's from an art test, but this one part is killing me. I have no idea how to model this seamlessly. I don't have much time left, so I'm considering just doing it the easy way and modeling it separately. Sub-d is still new to me, so trying to translate polygonal to sub-d and back to polygonal gets…
Delete the polygons surrounding the crease. you'll probably find some edges connected to those verts which are preventing the smoothing from solving correctly.
Those are some pretty intricate columns to polygon-model faithfully ~.o It's hard to tell from the wireframe but the way the top of that column is laid out seems pretty wonky. I would delete all the polies on the top of the column, select the boundary you've left, extrude the edges in a little bit, and cap the border.…
