TGZ: we have 16 gigs of ram :) gotta use it all up somehow! awesome work Kevin! I like seeing your work hung up in the halls. the more I look at this thread, the more I realize that most of that stuff is yours:)
Great news Kevin, especially teaming up with Eat3D. Congrats on the 2nd addition. My daughter is now 1 1/2yrs old and she's an awesome handful of fun but I'm not sure the misses and I could go through that again. I like my sleep...
At the risk of repeating what everyone else has said: incredible work and awesome baby! I'm currently working on something with lots of flowing curves, a bit like your Klaw model and I'm intrigued as to whether you use splines/nurbs to create the curves or whether you just work from poly primitives and eyeball it?
wow these are awesome i wish we could get to create stuff like that for those with no budgeting lol they probably have a team for one object at a time if not they have some really talented people at epic, i'm having trouble making a mp5 for a simpe counterstrike like game lol i'm such a noob, but i just started yesterday…
Good to see you posting some stuff. Dig the tall Necris column. The level of detail in all the pieces is really well balanced. All awesome work congrats!!! You website just comes up as a bluehost page for me too btw. .............. if you see him round, squeeze Hawkprey and get him to show some love too.

awesome thread i must say. keep it up Kevin! pleasure to see your work and i think i say for all of us poly counters when i say that we hope to see tons more along with your strong posts answering many questions we have. Epiphany moments i think they call them? :) any who keep it up and thank you.
It's odd you say that, because I personally like the nature of your character more. Maybe it's because I'm not a massive fan of the UT "smooth" look, but I like the hard edges on your character model. The UT enviro stuff always seems too "painless" to me. I guess when I think of an enviro where shooting and blowing things…
I somehow let pages of posts go by and weeks of time, and I've forgotten to say it until now. Awesome work Kevin. You've just become my SDS idol. I would love to see a timelapse or two on the construction of some of those. And the zbrushing looks fantastic! I have to ask....are you really better off doing this in ZB…
