Hi all, just a mini project at the moment. Thought I'd turn my Dominance War character into a Warcraft 3 character. His 690 polies with a 256 x 256 texture. Hope you like him
@Indecom: Ah, it's from Gears of War! Now I recognize the style... I never played that game or seen a decent video about that. I also don't have an Xbox360, or better, I don't have time to play videogames... :(
Its really all just for aesthetics and doing something different. Using a 128x128 pixel texture wouldn't really kill performance on anything either, but from my experience when you're working on a small team (2 people), you want to be able to pump art out as much art as quickly as possible, so you don't lose momentum or…
Here's my first attempt at a character under 500 triangles, Aurra Sing from Clone Wars. Was a pretty fun challenge for sure. Still needs a lot of work on the textures but I thought I'd post where I'm at so far.
