No because it's a low-poly head with less than 300 triangles. :poly142: Maybe the thread title should be changed to include "500 triangles or less ONLY" if it really upsets you guys that much.
Here is a small, untextured (as of yet) grindstone I'm working on for a hand painted Blacksmith environment I'm creating. Totals at around 300 polys currently, but I am still in the process of optimising and unwrapping it.
Few new ships for our game. and p3d link: http://p3d.in/1OvET/shadeless+spin http://p3d.in/iGdcN/shadeless+spin 256 maps for both. Both around 200-300 triangles.
The second character for our iphone game. Same specs: polycount: under 300 tris texture: 256x256 Hope you like it and any c&c welcome. In this one i tried to apply some tips i received with the first one.
Side post from the OTTTD thread http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?p=2067931#post2067931 Guns and towers are between 300 - 500 tris each. Wireframe turns for some of the medium sized models ~500 tris to ~750 tris for the turtle
Modelling the fat guy with the bone sword arms from "300" base mesh done, WIP texture 220 tris 256x256 difuse: Any suggestions for making those blades look a little better? all other crits are of course also welcome xD
My god man! That last mage stuff is breathtaking, you made 300 poly models look like 30k polys. Simply breathtaking job with using the shading to create the fake depth that's left out by the mesh. Thumbs up for you my friend
ad456, I have no idea if any of the other artists do this, but I've just started thinking in tris, especially for low-poly models. The project I'm working on now has a tri limit for characters between 2-300, so I use a lot of them.
All of these objects were made with iOS in mind and all are 300 poly's or under, with 1024x1024 png's. The lighting is pretty much non existent with a few painted shadows. These are just a few of my most recent low poly models. p.s Sorry for such a long post :S
