I still haven't even created all the WIP threads/posts I need, I have a lot of time to narrow down the number of versions I will make. Thanks for the answer dude!
I'm not sure how Valve would judge those. My gut says to post the alternate in your WIP thread. But if you're really dead-set on submitting both, then submit them as separate entries.
I completely agree, I have been updating my wip threads from the start. i am just wondering if Valve or polycount put these rules and wether Valve or polycount will be enforcing them.
I would still like a bit of clarification. Since the submission is only through the workshop do we need to add the texture sheet to our WIP thread...? Or is that no longer necessary? I'm a bit confused.
It was PC-CSGO | PP-Bizon death row wip - or at least something like that! I have opened a new thread named the same just Finished instead. I would be glad if you could restore it somehow.
I submitted a design that fits into this theme and is a deagle skin but it was submitted on May 1st before a friend let me know about this competition. Is it still possible to enter as I retained screenshots from WIP for Steam Display use or no?
Haha, this bug made me posting my long-wip-stories so painful... :) The voting seems kinda of for me too, when compared to my previous workshop uploads, but I blame it on green guns not being community favourites. :)
where can I post my final skin entry besides the workshop, as I cannot enter my tax and payment info until june 17th (its complicated) Will the judges check the link if I put it in my WIP thread?
Your content remains yours, to do with as you see fit. You created it. It just has to fit within the rules of the competition... has to be new work, must show WIPs, etc. But what you do with it beyond the competition, is completely up to you.
WIP= Work in progress. Wich means you have to create a thread where you present us your working process from the concept to the final result, with screenshots. So you should start thinking of what you want to do, and keep note of it.
