Yeahhhh. My other major psychotic hatred is when people quote a huuuge list of images, especially when they're the first reply to that post. And the reply is usually a single sentence like "omg! good job"! please don't do this
Impostor syndrome - Ok, this literally blew my mind, it explains a lot :dizzy: My personal favorite is one of the unanswerable questions though - What software/tool/workflow is best? Great post man. This should be revered like the ten commandments.
But at the same time, there's no reason you can't specify what you liked about the piece. Or even point out something that could use a little polish. No artist is perfect and that simple gesture turns a content-free post into something more interesting.
I agree with this. Saying nothing at all is, most of the times, equal to not caring much about whatever piece it is. If you like the art you're seeing and feel like telling it to the person to make him/her happy then you should by all means do so. Don't forget that posting in someone's thread is a helpful way of alerting…
Sometimes I have a very strong temptation to do so, then remember suddenly that I still have a job and many who did so , don't . So I am in a kind of doubt if treating a contract like Holy Bible is a wise thing really or I should grow bigger balls.

OMG its crash! Crits: 1. His mouth is too wide, it looks like it goes from one side of his head to the other 2. I think his unibrow could be a little higher C. His walk is much too confident for a man with such thin hair e. His arms are made out of rubber
I wasnt commenting on your work as someone mentioned, I like the work you have done. I dislike people who request a particular standard of response. I also dislike the arrogant comparisons to other sites especially since traffic is mostly responsible for a forums existence unless there are rich benefactors I am not aware…
Exactly. The point is not to prevent people from asking what software was used, but rather ask more intelligent questions or ask about theory over tools. Whether I moved the vert in Max or Maya is irrelevant most of the time. The question should be 'why' I chose to move it there. Especially when they only want to know…
Yeah, absolutely, I briefly glossed over this but its probably worth having it's own point. The relationships you forge here are so important. I updated that point, take another look and see if that clears it up. For the sake of brevity I wanted to keep each point to a relatively short statement, but it looks like that's…
