There's some speculation that there might be a remote control BB-8 toy in the works. There's a "Star Wars themed toy" in development at a robotics studio that was recently mentored by Disney. I know which robot I'd throw some money down for.
I understand and appreciate going back to the retro special effects and props, but the movie feels like an amateur fan-made movie rather than an actual Star Wars film. (like a college student's attempt at making a movie)
...Trying? Comeback? Moved on? I don't know what world you've been living in, but I haven't lived a single decade that hasn't seen a Star Wars movie playing in the theater while its merchandise flies off the shelf.
Then why not make a million RPM gun that fires bullets made of Mandalorian Iron :I wielded by someone in armor made from Mandalorian Iron. Few things in star wars hold up to any kind of scrutiny, because its never been about consistency but the actual "adventure" and the spectacle it creates (at least in the first 3, the…
That space pirate crew photo is the only photo I ever needed to see for this photo. If disney had just released that photo and kept everything else in the dark for Star Wars. No cast, or director or anything. I would still be pumped to see this movie.
I doubt any of Star Wars fans cares about disnay, when Lucas Arts over 20 years build entire universe in movies, books, comics, games. What can I say. Disnay will go one way and fans another.
Cool slideshow here with 50 images of props from the new movie, some nice wear reference; http://www.wired.com/2015/11/star-wars-force-awakens-props The weapons look particularly beaten up, I'm liking that heat staining on some of the blasters
I'm hyped, I liked the sword and the droid. Nothing is really functional in the star wars universe its all form over function. The sword looks great. I'm more concerned about how is he going to fight with it and is he going to chop some trees down.
It kinda reminded me of jedi academy. I like this. It will be a jj abbrams film in that his flavor will come through much like it did in star trek. This will be a good movie. I dont like the lightsabers. They look like blow torches rather than solid swords of light. But, i can live with it if it means no more ewoks,…
It seems like there are two camps on this and they seem to break along generational lines. Haters: They came of age after the original trilogy had run its course. Their nostalgia factor is mockery of EP 1-3. You say Star Wars to them and they bust out laughing at all of the meme's that come to mind. Fans of the Original…
