Here's a stupid question, but I can't seem to find any information on how to export your maps at all. Is it even possible? It'd be great if you could just export your diffuse/spec/gloss as TGA and such. Still trying to figure this all out. Not used to the interface.
Is there any way to adjust the falloff of a brush? It seems like I can only scale it up or down, but sometimes you want a larger scale brush but with lower falloff so it doesn't wrap around curved surfaces or on sharp edges. I tried to find it, but I'm not seeing this feature if it exists.
Hey,I got stuck on one part, I completed all my textures and just found out a part in my mesh needs to move a bit but i can't find reload mesh option inside substance painter. Any option to re import mesh in substance painter ?
I'm working on making a good bridge between Designer and Painter, trying out and looking at a number of different methods, but so far I've been unable to find something that really suits my fancy. My setup is that I have these complex graphs in Designer where I Tri-Planar map my materials, and I'd like to blend between…
Speaking of working with Marmoset for preview, has anyone managed to find a way to get Painter to export over previously exported maps? So far I have had to export into a new folder every time and then manually copy and paste the files into the original folder in which Marmoset is pulling its textures from.
Definitely peaked my interest. Also cant wait to find out more about this and its workflow. Having a good painting app is a toughie, anything that can replace say autodesk's mudbox will be a nice change in my opinion. The idea of particle brushes is fascinating. Too bad this isnt part of/built into SD.

Projection works fine but stencil doesn't. Hope someone have an answer to this. Thank…
Should be, you just need a filter that converts height -> curvature (in simple cases a highpass + levels might work, otherwise you might need to make a height->curv filter in designer or find one on share). Then you drive that filter with the anchor of your heightmap. edit: like this:…
can I save all my layers and reimport the mesh? for example I have to make some changes to mesh and rebaked a normal map but I don't want to lose all color and height changes I did in Painter, so can I reimport the mesh? I can't find the option currently.
Got the license when SP was in beta, but have used it very little so this might be a noob problem - Is there a way to adjust FOV or change camera to ortographic mode? It just bothers me that camera uses so wide angle that it distorts models. Tried all buttons and checked menus, yet I didn't find any option.
