Lots of great stuff as usual in here! I finally wrapped this up. model I did rig and animate everything but ran into issues with the bats and I'm not sure if it is a Modo or sketchfab issue. All the bat instances exported stacked up in a clump. I'll probably revisit and post an animated version at some point.
@smurfbizkit thanks! I've done some (very) quick testing in ps. You're right the dark metal, the wrapping and the wood all kinda melt together in grayscale (I used the proper method to convert to grayscale dont worry). So I'm planning on making the wrapping and the metal lighter, the metal is also going to be more blue, so…
It doesn't line things up for you automatically. An example of my workflow would be... Paint some brick guides use offset where the guides dont meet up, MAKE them meet up use offset again until guides are nice and tidy and tile when I use offset repeatedly Repeat process with paint.
