I don't quite understand wear the hoodie ends and the body begins but that's a pretty awesome Turtle DarkKnight :) wrapping this up, toolbag render and flat diffuse in maya:
Thanks for the comment! Yeah, maybe I should throw a normal map on it. Been trying to make some diffuse only props lately. It definately looks a bit flat.
Here's the flat textures for my carousel. There are plenty of overlapped uv's as it is, but maybe there is more that can be overlapped. Also, I should mention that I made the model as a modular piece.
very cool, the likeness is great! though something is odd about the eyeballs, how big are they in diameter? they appear very flat and i guess this is due to the fact, that the eyeballs are to big.
A commission I did recently. My first character with a bit of complexity. It was a bit of a challenge to pull it all off, but I like how it turned out. Modeled in Blender 2.66, rendered in Cycles. The textures were primarily done in Blender. Including the logo on the shield, which was done using curve objects, rendered out…
looking good so far almighty_gir. I would say the the face seems a bit too tapered towards the chin and may be a bit flat. Other than that keep it up. link
Left side reference is wife, feel free to crit it, having a hard time getting the likeness. Her picture is very flat lighting wise, so that's a bit of it, but there's a lot of random difference too.
