Hey guys! Did anyone ever have problems with QoP's weapon? When I import it it's always at a wrong angle but in the right place. It is bound correctly with history/transforms frozen. I even tried exporting smd and dmx but that didn't help. I would appreciate any help! :)
Hi! I use 3ds Max. So I just use the Skin modifier and add and weight the bones I want to it. As for cleaning the history, I use "Reset XForm" in Utilities, and I reset the object's Transform and Scale in Hierarchy. I assume that's what you mean, right?
i saw your prev. post, i really can't figure out what i'm doing wrong, i've got all the file names right, i matched with the vtf, still cant get those textures to stick. @eleryn, have you tried resetting your transforms?
Thanks, I'll have to try that out sometime in the future :) In the meantime I have a bit of an import issue different issue. Anyone ever had a size mismatch issue before? Everything fits her perfect in maya but in the workshop in game it's huuuge. I've already frozen transformations and deleted history.
Using Maya 2012. I'm trying to make some Lycan claws, but when I import the .fbx file to Dota 2 they're floating above his head, although they follow the animations correctly. All of the transformations are frozen and moving the geometry around doesn't seem to affect it at all Any ideas?
