nope, tried that too, and its still over the hero floating there, at coordinates 0 0 0, positioning the item where the reference phantom lancer spear was didnt work too so, I dont know.. Thank you very much
awesome model Damio. how the hell are you guys getting the weapons fixed with model. When i skin it with the bone it floats in the air and it seems only sme parts of the model aare attached..Pleas hellp me...i have attached a screenshot....
Using Maya 2012. I'm trying to make some Lycan claws, but when I import the .fbx file to Dota 2 they're floating above his head, although they follow the animations correctly. All of the transformations are frozen and moving the geometry around doesn't seem to affect it at all Any ideas?
I'm having the same type of problem with geo floating. I've tried binding to a couple different bones, tried centering pivot, exporting with and without the bones selected.. I'm not sure what else to try.. Are there any specific steps I have to make sure to do in maya before exporting to FBX?
Hey fellas, I have a problem, my item is floating in several poses like BindPose or Idle. In portrait however its fine and looks like it should. The Item is attached to one single bone (the others deform too much). I want the model to stay like in Portrait mode but i dont know how. Here's a pic:
Hi everyone! I am trying to make a custom death ward for witch doctor. The problem is that my alpha map don't seem to work. Does it even support alphas? And in-game the floating spheres and skull doesn't appear. Am I doing anything wrong? Thanks! EDIT: I Think I solved it! Alpha apparently not supported

I've tried rigging legion commander's weapon, and had that same problem. If you import the weapon under a separate slot (so the original weapon is there), you can see that the original blade also floats like that too. I remember seeing a reddit thread complaining about legion's animations, so. I dont think there's anything…
