It looks nice, but there could be game play issues where it looks too similar with the traps. Keep pushing it, can't wait to see what the final product looks like.
If you can get the eye on the back animated to be looking around it would really push the design even further, really love how this one is turning out.
beautiful!!!!! I finished mine and let this be a good idea on what not to do for those wanting to push the boundaries and/or add butterflys :p http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=151731601
Ghostdetector - I tried to push some of the shapes and colors a bit more. hopefully this is a step in the right direction. Also trying to mess with the spear a little bit as well. What do you guys think?
I actually liked the idea so much, that i reimagined "Decorated Shooter" Still not sure if i can push the normals on the engraving to be actually shiny, or maybe i should fakepaint the shiny highlights, huh.
Community? Probably don't want. Valve? They'll keep pushing and prodding to see what they can get away with. Not necessarily bad or good. (I personally do not want another TF2-like development to a random circus.)
i'll enter the australian themed contest when it comes. dropbears ahoy but really i'm not too sure about this. i mean sure, take inspiration from preexisting cultures. but korean fishmen may be slightly pushing it
Those horse details are really weak, you should push them out some more, or they'll smudge from the normals and won't be visible ingame. In other news, now my ingame test crashes too. Welp.
Holy shit JeremyKlein! That Sven set should be default! Incredible stuff. And thanks for the tips on making better UV mapping that you posted earlier. Made me rethink and pushed me to make better ones with better results.
I like the damaged open one, but you can push your Geo a bit more. The polycount on the axe is limited to 700 triangles, so I think you can keep the curvature of the first, without going over budget.
