Textures are underway - tiling roof texture, tiling bark texture and the buildings, platforms and bridges share a wood/rope texture. Playing around with lighting....all a bit too green still. The fog is still a bit dense as well. Added a placeholder tree branch to play around with silhouettes..! :)
Got all the zbrush details done and baked down, started blocking out some colours and putting things together in UDK. Also decided to re model the roof as it felt really empty and simple compared to the rest of the model before. No lightmaps or anything and just thrown in a basic scene
Small update to the scene, still working on the main modular building blocks. Now going to start moving onto more detailed pieces like broken walls, bricks fallen roofs that kind of thing. I will happily accept any idea the get thrown my way! :smiley:
Things look pretty good, but it'd be much more interesting if you had the blacksmith actually working in his forge and not just standing there! I would also probably adjust the UVs on the roof over the forge so that the top part doesn't have that extra little bit of shingling.
I made this door this morning. It was just a little sculpting practice. I modeled this building today. It needs some things worked on; especially the roof. I'm not using a concept or anything as usual, but i'm liking how it looks so far. I haven't done any urban stuff.

Like the boardwalks, especially the outer one, and some parts of the roof. Would be nice with a more interesting silouette of those…

You did a good job . i dont khnow why your roof look weird from far away in the second image . you . you look like you have just one type of grass . make more and try to put the grass in right places .. hope that help :)
