If you set up a scene how you like and save it to the 3dsmax scenes folder as "maxstart.max" it will load that scene every time you launch max or "reset". That won't force your settings on another persons file, you would probably have to script that yourself... but that should keep their settings from sneaking into your…
Hey Midnight, in the swatches folder of the Quixel Suite 2 directory there is an fbx you can import to Modo and color sample from its materials. Alternatively there's a photoshop swatches file. Modo is something we plan for the future of Quixel Colors and will post in the Quixel Tools Group our updates regarding, I hope…
Tight as a drum, of course. I can't sperg about any liberties since I don't know the platform, and what kind of knob really gets into PDWs in esoteric calibers anyway Now all you need to do is convert it into it's HL2 mythical grenade alt-firing version saving the wires to erotic/ref folder
Okay, well just for posterity, I JUST fixed it. Apparently all you do is completely delete your preferences folder in your documents. I'd only been deleting the one pertaining to that exact version of maya (I have multiple versions on my comp) So yeah, just figured i"d clear it up.
1.7.3 , it seems to be getting faster after the new materials load the very first time . It also seems like some materials are problems, I took a handful out and only kept metal concrete and wood and Its much faster now. Am I only suppose to drop them in the folder when using them ?
Eric, Yes the suite is installed in the default directory. Yes the project was in a directory with an & in the name. I moved the folder to the root of my D: drive but this doesn't solve the problem. I don't know if it happens to all projects as this is the first project I have made. Throwing everything away however and…
That is correct. I decided having two windows to work with was too much of a hassle so I merged the materialCenter into materialList. If you still have a version that is asking for the materialCenter.mel, download the latest version above. If you did that and you are still for some reason getting materialCenter errors, try…
Amazing stuff dude and not sure what it could be if isn't the resolution assigned to the lightmap uvs :S maybe light bounce settings in lightmass? No idea how I'd even start fiddling with those settings though. In any case, saving this thread and some of the pics so far to the inspiration folder, keep up the great work :)
No, but we can add color picker plugin into photoshop; like The photoshop sdk works like this : -You can only create plugin you add into the adequate folder. like : filter, color picker, file format,... -Each plugin has to stay on top ( you cannot do anything else in photoshop until the plugin is closed )
i've always used actions for borders, resizing, and playing with channels when i have a folder full of images and don't want to remember the same settings over and over. also handy for creating quick effects like fire, metal, and snow...and animations. i think the version i use now has something called droplets.
