Hi, all ! Base hard surface element was done in Blender. Some highpoly parts directly in Zbrush. I almost finished with High Poly Thanks Sbcas74 Hope you like it.
you should really soften some of those edges up on the highpoly, theyre so tight and sharp they wont transfer well in the bake, otherwise, some really nice work there
Hey guys. I made few more spikes and combined them into the rock, just for test. And I think, that most of the highpoly parts are done. Next step is lowpoly and baking.
thanks everyone, and for your time going to start the head again from the highpoly version, here is how it looks now crits are always welcome once again in case is not there yet
Put the seam along the actual model seam you sculpted in the Highpoly. Cut in a couple edge edges so it follows that line and bake, then u probably won't even notice it.
yeah , i forgot that they were his wires .. :) this is the HighPoly Version beveled at the corners .. sorry , i sayed it was lowpoly by mistake . the lowpoly version when i finish this HP version
instead of doing a highpoly mesh smooth, consider getting your low poly and doing a bevel on the corners and using it as a high (dont mesh smooth). This will create what you want.
thanks for the input! better? The programmer said that alphamapping is BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD on the iphone, or at least in his engine. So I will stick with the extra uv space. Here is another building. It's pretty highpoly:
