Study that I loved to do during working-time^^ (it surely helps if you are quick at pushing pixels) Well nothing special, but I drew something and it encouraged me afterwards.
Hi Travis! In the primer I used an older version of the SUITE. :) I believe I either rasterized or created the shape as pixels instead of a shape. :) Hope that answers your question. :)
Saw your presentation earlier, Welding seams in normals are good but don't worry yourself immensely about them as the normal map pixels will only be able to do so much.
I maxed out the antialiasing and bumped it up to 4k. I did however keep seperate objects. The pixelation in the maps is now at a minimum. Looks great now, thanks Quack!
You can use normal maps, but pixel shaders are a pretty big resource hog on mobile, so you would want to limit it to characters or small props most likely.
Hi there! Same happens to me with 1.8 could you tell me if your problem persisted after updating? This is a bit frustrating when you have those pixelated images.
Same issue: http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1841095#post1841095 Check per pixel camera vector to use vertex colors and vector transform in the same dx9 material.
