Aren't demo reels necessary for finding a job? Almost every place I've applied to asks for a demo reel. I do agree that they are kind of pointless and still images are much better, but for some reason companies keep asking for them... -

I thought the same until I tried the demo. And then tried it a second time. Then I giggled a little. This is a definite purchase first chance I get. And to repeat. The demo is excellent. Great way to sell a game. Congrats to you TheGodZero! -

I played the demo, thought it was really sweet. Not to change the topic, but if anyone with a wheel has tried out Dirt I'd love to know how it handles. I played the demo of that too, and using the in car camera was just so insane. -

I actually know him in person! He did a live demo of his 'alpha' version on the same night Autodesk was showing their Gameware demo. There is a possibility that (autodesk) they are going to buy this from him and add it to one of the new versions of Maya/Max! -

That aside, student versions of everything helps, if there isn't student version available or reasonably priced alternates/subscriptions, well shit happens. *Heads up* Anyone with a valid student Email can get all of autodesk products for free… -
