Working on figuring out a lighting comp. I made the mistake of not clearly defining it in the beginning of my female character, so I'm hoping this will help me avoid the same mistake.
lol actually the male characters are pretty good looking, all my characters are female because I cant stand playing for hours staring at a well defined male ass..
yeh, its definately not arial on my browser (Firefox 4.0.1), been on Word too much to not recognise good ol'Times new roman. Perhaps my settings are messed up..
Intresting choice of colors on your last piece - but don't be afraid to define facial muscle structure somewhat further, so that the image gets that little 'extra' :) Keep it up dude!
Aya those folds have been through countless iterations - I did use reference though :D - but I'll definately go over it again no doubt! Thanks for input!
Progress update... I tried to do defined fur outlines but it didn't work out very well. So took another direction and smudged the edges to get a softer look.
Do our assets have to be watertight? Can I use edge split here and there or would it be best to microbevel and use support loops to define the edges of our models? Thanks!
Well I definately agree with you on the great video editing and shots/angles in Top Gear. I just dont mind having new hosts as long as they keep the rest.
I just bake everything in Modo these days - the cage is simply defined as a morph map for the mesh. Wrote some push tools for pushing the cage out nicely to keep it square.
F'ing love the gesture in those hands man and everything else is looking awesome. Glad you went with #2 definately less repetative to look at. Looking forward to seeing this progress.
