also verts are a better indicator, since depending on uv seams, and smoothing splits, it is possible to have 2 meshes with the same amount of tris, with drastically different vertex counts
What about artists that have no prior experience? From the recruiters that I've come across, they only work primarily with people that have X amount of years under their belt.
Well the amount of polies you saved by removing it, will easily get added when trying to cover up the hole with alpha planes. Also think this belongs in tech talk ;)
I have a question about the illustration. Is the display of small amounts of blood allowed ? Or is it potentially hurting my chances if there is a spurt of blood in my illustration ? It will not hurt your chances.
This came out very, very nice. But I worry that some of your final renders have a severe amount of foreshortening that's kind of distracting. Particularly the third and fourth of these guys.

Nice :) I guess drawcalls are also very important, but doens't look like you overdid it there.. just the amount of alpha test, alpha test is really expensive on ios :/
