yeah i originally made his legs more like the pic you have there, but most of the references i looked at of wrestlers, they had built upper bodies, and just mostly "thick" undefined legs.
I use it here and there for interfacing with Maya, when MEL won't do the job. One of our artists here at SD writes all his tools in Python, it is very powerful in combination with Maya and MEL.
Dude, water is deadly stuff! Smashing boxes to get stuff. And barrel/crate/boxes in general. Even in real life these items should be abolished. Except for kegs...you leave my keg alone.
BOOBS! BAH! When I'm at hooters and waiting for food. I'm checkin out the butts and legs. Hell for that matter, when I'm at the titbar I'm checkin out the butts and legs! Whats wrong with me!
I actually am using a dummy figure for proportions. The leg probably looks shorter than a real leg, but on the reference picture, it doesnt go all the way up to the waist. thanks for the advice though! :)
I don't really know much about highpoly modelling.. but man.. those legs.. those are some sexy SEXY legs. Good job Vahl, glad to see this type of model around here.
@ Cremuss Thanks for the crit dude! I made the legs a bit bigger and I am thinking of adding maybe 4 more legs 2 front and 2 at the back :) So I did a bit more work on his face + skin etc.
I've continued adding more geometry and detail, mainly to the top of the hull, legs, arms, weapon as well as a socket joint which showcases more freedom in the mechs arm movement. Next I will be finishing off the leg, and moving onto the hull and turrets :)
it's head/back/tail is also an anchor point/"leg." it's arms are also legs. it moves like a crab or a spider would atm, and i'm currently looking at maybe adding a few joints to make it able to roll like a droideka. not sure about that though.
Here is the progress in the Mount so far, been busy with school but we can still make it, the chest piece is getting re designed because of time constrains, the progress soon! Rear Leg Front Leg Thanks to anyone that commented in our thread
