One way is to get a bitmap or a vector of the layout you need, then uv to that. The resolution is up to you, just render at that size. I.e. 10 inches at 300 dpi is 3000 pixels across.
I like your layout, clean, simple the text are a bit too small for my liking great stuff man maybe more breakdown of each piece? texture sheet, wireframe?
Little update: I made trees (the one before were Speedtred samples) New lighting mood changes (still WIP) Also a new ground shader and Overall layout change
Sorry for the snag in updating [ for those of you whom care :p ]. I have been working in UDK and I should have a rough layout with everything in there by tomorrow. Take care all!
If you'd follow anatomy when doing a realistic future human soldier then you should try to follow mechanical layout when doing a realistic future tank/mobile artillery unit.
Haha... I just realized this as well. I had completely missed the fact that these were actually the first picture in a series of pictures. So I'll second this, work on the site navigation/layout.
Great portfolio, I really like the website layout as well. I'm a big fan of the scrolling method. The only thing I'd want to see different is some texture sheets and wireframes.
yeah i was gonna say try out sweep. i've used it for quick wall layouts combined with max 9s pro booleans. Autodesk showed the process at GDC this year as well.
Yeah, your page has way too much art in the layout, and not enough of your actual art. your banner/menu is the same size as the window you're displaying your art in.
