There was an old Quake mod kind of like that, looks like it's split off into a standalone now. Might be it, you can see the newer version at http://www.digitalpaint.org/ and see if it rings any bells for you.
You should post up your wireframe. I can't quite tell from your render, but maybe you could use a plane for the pull ring and apply those polys to the base?
Sweet, thanks again Sync. I was looking over the first post, and understand more so now how I can get my ring function working that we talked about :) .
This works for a binder where the pages stay on one side, then slide over rings to get to the inside back cover. But with a flexible spine they are stitched and glued together so the pages follow and deform differently.
Happened to me also. Not complete numbness, but on my right hand numbness from the wrist up on the pinky and ring finger side. Went away a few months after doing the cushion thing.
We will be having a tasting of a little bit of The Glenlivet and a little bit of Chivas tomorrow after work. Anyone who wants to have free samples fly into Rockwall Texas and give me a ring
no, its not a good thing. I've always felt we were destined to fight to the death in some sort of octagonal ring. she refuses to comment. so, think you could take Elisha?
Ian McKellen > Hugo Weaving in Lord of the Rings Hugo Weaving > Monica Bellucci in Matrix Reloaded Monica Bellucci > Mark Dacascos in Brotherhood of the Wolf Now: Val Kilmer <-> Doug E. Doug
pretty cool! i would work a lot more on the textures, they seem a bit flat and simple. the orange stuff looks the weirdest, especially if you put it on the base like that (the ring). keep it up!
In Max, the functions that you will want to use are Remove and Collapse. Remove (Ctrl + Backspace) is usually used in conjunction with a loop selection. Collapse can work with vertices, and does quite well with Ring selections.
