Most people use photoshop, because it does the most and people are the most familiar with it. GIMP/PSP/Photoshop Elements are all fine stand-ins on a budget, though. -

Your bloom levels may be just a hair too much, but it looks good overall. Cluster up some ground elements to make your assets pop! -

i pulled the same hp and lp elements away from each other to get a better cage result in 3ds max. maybe thats the mistake for xNormal? -

still think your lighting is too busy too many elements and not enough bounce to take your eyes around the scene....will holfd judgemet for better shots -

So how woudl or shoudl be presented a modding work experience ? because as u might imgaine a modding work is usually intermixed with elements from the original game . -

What do you mean by shadowpass? I've already tried using render elements - shadow which doesn't give me the full shadow as in the complete render -

I'm so glad that you guy realize there is a gian fish. As my first thought, it might be a surprising element but you right, the fish need to be more noticeable
