That's an awesome idea Eric. If Ryan manages to get that functionality into Crazybump it'll basically be a 1-stop texture shop! (Then all it needs is a tiling method like imagesynth )
maybe you could use remote desktop functionality to connect your tablet pc to a proper fast machine. the cintiq alone costs as much as a tablet pc... )
I love the performance on searches. It's the same speed as opening up a folder on my desktop. Have to wait for the rest of the functionality to roll in before I fully commit.
pior go make a new post and check the bottom of that page, there's a tag field there. And I don't think it works through quick search, but the functionality of searching tags is there.
Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the "ignore users" function only hides their comments on the forums when you are signed in. They will still be able to send you PM's.
inkscape has a trace function that will turn a bitmap into vectors. you'd have to play around with the settings a bit but could give you a good start. http://inkscape.org/
damn! i'm glad it is not just me, but sad that it is a bug for everyone. :( I'll probably script a copy/paste function if it gets too annoying.. cheers for testing vig.
http://payk.drunkencoders.com/index.html?/Pages/Projects.html looks like it's not hardware, but this tech demo has a function written to fake envmapping. It looks pretty impressive on the hardware, too.
