Tried to play with a friend. The poster is great, the first level seems pretty decent. But we got best available server, and there was low gravity, speed move crouch... So I loaded it up local and same thing. Tell me that isn't part of it please. About the only mod I enjoy is class change for infected.

Ok, so here is a little bit of mystery solving, Maya 2014 and Maya 2015 don't set the same Local Rotation Axis for the controllers. That's why I didn't feel like it was consistent. But, my problem remains, i need to actually be able to set the LRA my self and not be at the mercy of the predefined one by Maya... Any ideas?
Unfortunately I can see that modeler loosing his job as part of the scape-goat fingerpointing after this. Instead of taking responsibilty, the official response tries to play ignorance. Even if the heads didn't know. Even if it was a local TV setup. People they (owners) hired and thus the culture they created thought it…
Kanji is pretty hard to learn but something to keep in mind is that most symbols that make up a kanji have a meaning within themselves. So most complex Kajni are "built" from the meaning of various other symbols. You can learn these smaller symbols meaning by picking up a Kanji dictionary from a local bookstore or Amazon.
I feel it also depends on whether the job market is local or international and studio budgets. Many studios want the best possible candidate at the lowest possible price so become extra picky What constitutes as best is debatable, the work you do at a studio isn't always aligned to what you have in your portfolio.
Change the extrusion type from Group to Local Normal to get it to work like expected when extruding cylindrical selections. Caveat: If you have the default caddy-style dialogs it'll have an icon instead of text, but the setting will be there somewhere. I personally recommend actually disabling the caddies in the settings…
Toggle local symmetry, and maybe set/clear pivot. I can't remember then name of the menu they're under off the top of my head, but it's where the symmetry settings are. As you probably guessed :P Seen this? http://eat3d.com/free/zbrush_stone Sculpting damage with morph targets. Could also use noisemaker on various layers.
Sorry for the stupid question: But how can I exactly create a MZP which has a collection of 'other' scripts and publish it locally for quick installation on other work stations? For example, I want to collect RTAssist, TexTools, ToTex and GoMax under my scripts name, but I can't figure out how to add and publish correctly?
There isn't really a camera. It's more like you're staring at a static photoshop document, while rotating a floating model around on top of it. Personally I prefer to work with local transformations on. The last place you click on the model becomes the new pivot point. Eventually it becomes instinct to click on the area…
