Fordy, I don't think he wants to save the layers, he just doesn't want the extra step of flattening before save. I used the one from this site with Photoshop 7: http://developer.nvidia.com/object/nv_texture_tools.html And it didn't require me to flatten the image before saving.
Convert the wheels to a 7 sided cylinder, they'll look just as round - odd, low numbers look better than odd, low even numbers. You could alternatively compress the inside of the wheel so it's 4 sided on the inner side since the car won't be flipping often.
Congratulations daddy! This is the best part of life! I can't believe that mine is already going on 7 months (5 months adjusted age since she was a premie) and getting her first tooth. They grow so fast man, and you are going to have so much fun in the process.
Guys any feedb on the apc spotlights? HP went off for the weekend yesterday (he had to unfortunately) and I suppose Lee's busy at work (+ its like 7 or so hours difference between us so...) so I'm alone working on it today. NEED DA FEEDBACKZ.
It wasn't the season premiere. It was the 2nd half premiere. I believe since about season 5 or 6 they've split the seasons up into 2 segments of 7. Basically its tiring work so they take 3 month breaks between each. I'm downloading it as we speak..
Congrats, my wife and I are selling a house this week, got 7 offers already after being listed for a day and a half. Looking to buy next year (in seattle), going to be hell i am sure! Now all you need to do is build a portcullis and dig a moat!
7 2k maps doesn't add up to a 16k map. You need 64 2k maps to make a 16k map Also a 16k texture set is approx 1gb of compressed textures (for a metallic roughness material) in one lump. which you don't want in a game ever
Really depends on where in the day I am, and what I've been doing prior. And sometimes I just feel like fuck it, I want to play games. But that being said, when I really get into it, it can be between 2-3 hours up to 5-7.
I was just thinking about this! I think I'm in direneed of a Windows refresh, and was thinking of doing it to a new HD. My comp is about 7 year old now (shit!), not sure I have the right guts to hook it up, need to research a bit and learn something new :)
great tip! running windows 7 with xmouse button control here and had the same issue in max 2011. going into xmouse control window, clicking on settings and unchecking "make scroll wheel scroll window under cursor" does the trick. maybe that will help someone down the years.
