Add works in the sense that it puts the two functions together, but it doesn't apply the TexCoord (tiling texture repetition) to the BumpOffset. So I get the texture tiling like I need it to, and I get the bump offset affect I need, but I need the BumpOffset to apply the TexCoord values to itself aswell. Thanks for the…

Unfortunately, no .psk in the SDK, its just a .3ds and .max. Don't happen to have 3DStudioMax tho. I emailed Visimo a few months ago but he never replied. All the links in the original thread are down and his website hasn't been updated in a while too so I think he's on a hiatus from the internet. TYVM for the replies…
@Dantert Notice the dates on the replies, this is all really old information... like 7+ years old! None of those limits apply anymore here on Polycount. Nowadays it's as simple as drag-and-drop. For example, this is a 2558x1377 screengrab from a demo, dragged into my reply. Click on it to see it bigger. Also, with the new…
Hey, Thanks for the reply. Alot of the Material work was done by Andy Kreutzer and Jeff Horal, My leads. Our goal with the Materials were to get it to look like an anime background. Glad to see you're getting good responses from experienced artists & coders! However there's no need to flag replies as Abuse. These aren't meant as tirades, rather they're direct critiques which are here to help you understand the way things work in game development. Or else they're simply joking in a good-natured way.…

Just about how many art works of each specialty is good for a portfolio ? Like 10 models ? 10 environments ? Etc . And would making these cool abstract models and…
Thanks so much for the reply- I am looking specifically for a tree that uses what appears to be real human arms as the branches. If you still think you can accomplish this, that'd be phenomenal! I would be hand painting the final 3D model so that the tree is an amalgam of "flesh colored" and actually looks like it is made…
lol. I was typing up a reply and opened another Polycount tab when I saw this. I'm shedding my lurker status recently and I'm a little tipsy, so I thought this was some sort of strange reminder to save a draft of my reply while viewing other threads. Even though I signed up years ago, I'm still new here, so this was…
