Hi guys. Maybe some of the riggers amongst yourselves might be able to help me out on this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Basically, I have a full rig already set up, and the square curve just moves everything on the rig at once, barring the two circles on the very bottom that are away from everything. The two circles under…
Thanks for your comment Joseph. All you say is true I think. I haven't noticed some of the those points until you mentioned them. The arm part I can fix it after painting (i hope). Probably just adjusting the edges. But the Armor which you cirlced green, I started doing drag-drops of an alpha in Zbrush starting from the…
Thanks guys. I have decided to get the material definitions down first I spent about half the day trying to get the scene to match the ref before I realised the artist had painted it with a 2 point perspective system, and even though the vanishing points lined up, it looked out of scale from different angles. These were…
Dang, why no love for this thread? First off, AWESOME painting. I really like the color scheme and lighting you got going on. Like mr Gaussles, I like the way you resolved the background. I think that dog is just begging to have his design elaborated and then modeled and textured. Do you model and texture as well Snowfly?…
Here is my most recent Game Art project. Our final assignment was to build an environment. I had some fun sculpting the island and creating my waterfall and water materials. I also enjoyed making the material for the island and using vertex paint and mesh texture paint to blend materials on the mesh. I had a lot of fun on…
So beside the little hiccup with Decals, I am also having a little issue with Mesh Painting as well. I got the Material set up and it works pretty well but there is a slight issue. The texture I have plugged into input B on my Lerp remains in some areas, its definitely being caused by the cloud texture I have but I don't…
A lot of environment work is the last 20%, the polish stuff. It seems like you're lacking that. Few quick comments: -It's really dark. I can't see much of the ground or walls. -The values are sort of all blending together. One thing I would say is try this: http://blog.environmentartist.com/?p=1127 I did an extreme example…
@Lokii288 Thanks man!, probably i'll flip it ^^ @Viko Thanks for taking the time and give this feedback, rlly apreciate ^^ and yes, you're right, i'll try and over paint the wall and make the Light less sharp as it goes far from the Upper point (pic 1) and if it looks wierd, i'll over paint the complete wall like you did…
fuse in #md pointed this out. http://www.steampowered.com/ati_offer1a/ Free HL2 Lost Coast, and HL2:DM for ATI customers. I don't see any fine print. Not sure if they mean you're eligible for a limited time, or if you can play for a limited time. This may mean it's possible to play DM, and all of it's mods (like…
Hmm, a train route sign, hand print smears, maybe some ball-point pen graphitti. The bars going into the slid-in signs looks a bit out of place, maybe move them so they join the upper celing instead. Great so far, really like how you extended the graphiti onto the chairs.
