- update Unfortunately I haven't had much time to work on this lately. :( But I'm still hoping to schedule out a good chunk of time to finish this guy up in time for the deadline. Wish me luck! In the meantime, here's a minor update.
Update on the Officer. Adjusted his proportions in general; including his shoulders, arms, hands, torso, and legs. Cleaned up some of the wrinkles, but won't be final til I have most of the equipment blocked in. Will update on the Mech next time.
Just a quick post to say I updated all the posts on the site as quite a few of the screenshots had got out dated. Also updated some links that had died, still need to track down one or two though.
Maybe but I think it's more probably that for one of the update days they'll announce the winners and then release on the 12th and even more probably that they'll stick to their schedule and announce the winners on the 12th with an update containing the winners on that day or a few weeks later.

I know that not having access to Farfarer's vertex normal toolkit would be a deal breaker to me. I'm not too keen on having to export my low-poly models to Blender to edit hard/soft edges with a nice GUI when I could just do everything in Blender anyway.
